This publication provides answers to some of the frequently asked questions about religious freedom and American Muslims

What I like about this publication is that it addresses some of the current questions about Islam, including 'Sharia Law', 'Taqiyya' and other misunderstood Islamic principles.

This website carries a wealth of articles and videos covering a vast array of subject matter, from the basics of Islam to the historical legacy of Muslims, from all sorts of social issues to interfaith material. One may order free literature through the website, start a one-on-one email correspondence, join the interactive forum, sign up for a mosque visit, etc.

What I like about this website is that there is a FAQ section which allows for quick answers to some common questions about Islam. And has a plethora of free resources.

Like other books in the Complete Idiot's Guides this book uses easy to understand terminology to explain the tenets of Islam. This is a free PDF version of the popular book.

What I like about this book is that it's not necessary to read the whole thing cover to cover.  One can look at the table of contents to see where to get information about particular topics.

American Islamic Outreach Foundation serves to inform, educate, and dispel misconceptions about the Islamic Faith through outreach programs and community service.

What I like about this website is it is based in Charlotte NC, and aside from offering free Qurans and info about Islam, it provides info about a free clinic, and about visiting local Mosques

Fear, Inc. The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America

Fear, Inc. The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America

CAP did an investigation on the rise of Islamophobia, revealing a small, tightly networked group of misinformation experts guiding an effort that reaches millions of Americans through effective advocates, media partners, and grassroots organizing.

What I like about this report is that it helps one to understand how to identify unreliable sources about Islam.
